Medical Deafblind Communicator Guide Scheme

This service is co-ordinated by the Deafblind Unit and funded by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Primary Care Teams.

If you have any medical appointments, a qualified communicator guide can accompany you to Leeds NHS Trust Hospitals, GPs, chiropodists, dentists and opticians.

This is a door-to-door service with transport, and the guide will support you throughout your appointment.
