Deafblind Unit – Day Centre Provision
Day Centre Groups are held here at Centenary House on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Lunch and transport is provided free of charge.
Activities
Activities include:
Baking, Banking, Bingo, Bowling, Crafts, Chiropody, Computer Lessons, Day Trips, Discussion Groups, Equipment Service, Hairdresser, Holidays, Information (benefits, services and specialist equipment), Keep Fit, Hearing Aid Support, One-to-one Communicator Guide Service for medical appointments, One-to-one Communicator Guide Service for social activities, Sensory Garden and Conservatory.
Volunteers
Without the support of our valuable team of volunteers it would be impossible to undertake and maintain all these activities. If you would like to volunteer to support our day centres please contact the Deafblind Unit, telephone 0113 243 8328.
