How the Deafblind Unit has helped its service users:

Relaxing and bathing

A little peace

Here in this area we have a bed, a comfortable easy chair (below left), and washing, showering and bathing facilities (below centre and right) for our service users. Some of our service users need help with personal things like baths or showers. Here they know that there is a safe bath and shower with grab rails, and they can always pull a cord for help if they get in trouble. To many of our folks this service is a blessing. Also in this area, we can offer massages using aromatic oils, manicuring and even hairdressing.
