How can you support us?
Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People is a local charity which exists to support the needs of sensory-impaired people living in the city of Leeds. However, we need support ourselves to ensure we can continue to provide our services for deaf, blind and deafblind people in the future. You may not have heard of us, but during our existence of over 100 years, we have touched many people’s lives in Leeds.
There are many ways to give back to a community in which you have an interest, and one of the best ways of making a contribution towards the wellbeing of the Leeds community is by making a commitment to support Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People. We work with many different people from Leeds, from school children to senior citizens, religious groups to local clubs, whose lives are linked with sensory impairment. If you would like to help break down barriers for sensory-impaired people in Leeds, please find out how you could help us by clicking on the headings on the left of this page for further information.
All support, no matter how great or small, is very gratefully received, and we welcome you at any time to come and see for yourself the real difference you will be making to the lives of blind, visually-impaired, deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people in Leeds.
Thank you.
